* HOWZD facilitates a 20 % Deposit Loan that is interest‑free and fee‑free for the first five years. If you repay the deposit loan in full within five years, you pay no interest or fees. If you do not repay the loan in full within five years, any remaining balance automatically rolls into an extension period. At the start of the extension period, an extension fee becomes payable and quarterly interest is charged.

Comparison rate: 5.48 % p.a. – calculated on a $150,000 secured deposit loan with a 25‑year term (five‑year interest‑free period followed by a 20‑year variable principal‑and‑interest extension). This example assumes no repayments during the interest‑free period, payment of a one‑off extension fee (outstanding balance × 5.65% × 5 years) at year 5, and subsequent repayment of the remaining balance at 5.65 % p.a. with equal quarterly instalments.
